Adil, an Indian national, is a Computer Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, USA.

Adil has over 15 years of work experience of which over 10 years are in the area of audit and assurance services.

In India

After having completed his articleship training from Deloitte & Touche, Mumbai, India, he worked with them for 3 more years handling and assisting external audits and special purpose audits for Government companies as well as big corporate entities. He then joined a private sector bank in the Forex Treasury back-office division as a senior executive and was subsequently promoted to the position of Assistant Manager. He worked in the bank for a total period of 3.5 years during which he has worked and managed every aspect of the Treasury back-office function. Due to the experience gained by him in the division, he was also made part of a task force to implement a new back-office system in the bank. As a member of the team, he was responsible to migrate data, assist the implementation team to prepare mandatory reports, handle and solve user queries and problems after the implementation.

In UAE

Adil moved to Dubai in 2006 and joined RSM Dahman as senior auditor and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Manager and then Manager. He is currently in-charge of external and internal audits of major groups in UAE. He has also been involved in Statement of Expenditure audits in Oil Companies, special purpose audit assignments as well as Information Systems audits undertaken by RSM Dahman in Yemen and Dubai. He is involved in providing Business and advisory services to clients in Dubai and also supervises the accounting services offered by RSM Dahman to local and international clients.

Internally, he is involved in staff training every year on topics of Audit, IFRS and other issues. He has been key in the implementation of the Caseware audit software along with the RSM audit methodology.
