Joining RSM Australia as an audit graduate in 1995, Tutu has a deep understanding of Accounting and Auditing Standards, earning the trust of clients and colleagues for over 25 years.

Tutu's clientele, primarily ASX-listed firms or those with international operations, rely on his expertise to navigate complex accounting and audit standards. His foresight and adaptability in anticipating the impact of these standards on clients highlight his skills.

As National Head of Audit & Assurance, Tutu oversees Audit Quality at RSM Australia, ensuring high standards through effective policies, procedures and tools. He focuses on providing timely, high-quality services at reasonable costs.

He also has experience in capital raising activities, including drafting Comfort Letters for US Funding.
In addition to the core audit and assurance services, Tutu offers professional services such as general technical accounting assistance and interpretation of IFRS.

Significant projects

Some of the significant projects that Tutu has worked on include closely collaborating with companies involved in US fundraisings to ensure that Comfort Letters accurately reflect the company's financial position and commitment to regulatory compliance. This work is very different from the day-to-day responsibilities of auditors.
Tutu has also acted as the auditor for Foreign Incorporated companies listed on the ASX and International listings of Australian companies. These projects provided Tutu with great insight into the working cultures of corporate America and Europe, including investment banks, US and Magic Circle legal firms.
