Glossary

CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) refers to the voluntary integration of social and environmental concerns by organizations into their activities and interactions with stakeholders. In 2019, the adoption of the PACTE law in France further strengthened the legal framework for CSR.

The CSRD is a European directive requiring medium-sized and large companies to publish sustainability reports, including financial and ESG data.

This regulation will come into force in 2025.

In order to ensure the reliability and verification of the information published as part of the Non-Financial Performance Declarations and to verify the implementation of the social and environmental objectives of mission-driven companies, businesses rely on Independent Third-Party Body (ITB).
