Carl has obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Corporate Governance.

With over 20 years of experience in the accounting profession, he has been providing holistic assurance service to listed and private companies operating in Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Japan over a diverse cross-section of industries including operation of pachinko halls, provision of outsourcing software development services, construction, manufacturing and sales of furnishings and home products, game development and distribution, retailing (including ecommerce platform) of watches and eyeglasses, retailing of branded clothing and holding of marathon events in the PRC.  He also involved in Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) in Hong Kong capital market for various types of businesses including pachinko operator in Japan, manufacturing in the PRC and construction in Hong Kong.

In view of the importance of sustainability in the world, to equip himself with related expertise, I have completed the business sustainability management course from The University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), the ESG reporting certification from The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), the executive certificate of ESG reporting from the Hong Kong Management Association and the certificate of sustainability assurance from the ACCA. Considering to become a sustainability specialist, it is imperative that he possess a highly recognised professional qualification, apart from being the member of the HKCGI and The Chartered Governance Institute, I have attained the Certified Environmental, Social and Governance Analyst (CESGA) designation which is in compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) accredited by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
