Partner - Business Tax

RSM is currently searching for an experienced Tax Partner with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our tax practice. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing practice where you will use your expertise in taxation to provide compliance and consulting services to clients. Candidates must be familiar with the tax consulting process and possess the analytical skills necessary for the effective diagnosis, development and implementation of solutions to clients' tax needs. With the support of the firm, you'll have the opportunity to develop and pursue creative approaches to resolve client issues. Successful candidates will have deep and meaningful relationships within Indonesia business community, and will have a track record of developing new business and leveraging trusted relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Fiscal from reputable university
  • 15+ years of progressively senior experience leading the delivery of tax practice - with latest position as a Partner or Director with big firms or as the Head of Tax with of a multinational company
  • Proven experience identifying and building on new and existing client relationships and delivering on new business opportunities in the tax practice
  • Experience engaging in advisory and compliance discussions with company executives
  • Proven experience identifying and building on new and existing client relationships and delivering on new business opportunities in the tax practice
  • Experience managing multiple large and complex projects and engagement teams for various clients, including tax dispute settlement
  • Having advanced knowledge of tax regulations which is supported by (i)  Valid Tax Court attorney license (preferably also having Tax Court – Customs License) issued by the Indonesian Tax Court; (ii) Tax Brevet with C Category and valid Tax Consultant License issued by the Directorate General of Taxes.
  • A proven record of building profitable, sustainable client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Accustomed in researching and analyzing emergent risk and regulation issues and trends
  • Project management and critical thinking skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments
