Shai Broner, CPA (Isr), Partner & Head of International Tax Department

• Shai Broner is a partner and head of international tax department at RSM Israel.
• Shai is a former tax inspector and a former tax specialist of the leading Professional Affairs Division of the Israeli Tax Authority (ITA).
• Among others, Shai was the head of the trust taxation field in the ITA, a national consultant for professional matters to reginal assessing officers, and as instructor in the tax inspectors' courses.
• As part of his duties, Shai was in charge of issuing pre-rulings in various international taxation matters (e.g. relocation, PE's, restructuring, treaty benefits, trusts etc.), formed legislative proposals and acted as a special consultant to the intelligence and investigations Division in charge of the criminal investigations. 
• In addition, he participated in the international Taxation Reform Committee (2019-2021) - OECD's BEPS project implementation.
• Since he retired from the ITA, Shai acts as the head of the international tax & trusts department at RSM Shiff Hazenfratz & Co. 
• Shai's key areas of expertise include international taxation, trust taxation, tax planning, corporate tax, crypto, as well as representing taxpayers in ITA audits, voluntary disclosures, pre-rulings, and WHT issues.
