Marketing & Communications Specialist - Milan

For our Forensic Investigations & Intelligence business line we are looking for a Marketing & Communication Specialist based in our office in Milan who will focus on supporting, planning and implementing strategic marketing campaigns with the goal of driving brand and business growth. This is a position for a self-starter who possesses critical-thinking skills, enjoys a variety or marketing duties and wants to make a tangible impact in the future of a company.

You will be working with the wider comms team and report to the head of the business line. 

What you will do

• Copywriting | write captivating and incisive texts for a variety of materials (social media posts, press releases, collaterals, articles, newsletters, etc.);
• Social media | strategize and implement a social media content strategy for the Partners’ personal profiles and the RSM Italy corporate profile (editorial planning, content management, post publication & analytics);
• Events | keep track of industry events and identify the best ones to attend, update the event calendar, manage event attendance (sponsorships, logistics, communications, taking points, props, media coverage, gadgets, networking);
• Media | support in the development of media campaigns by drafting communications, spotting hot trends to cover and crafting relevant speaking points for the Partners;
• Materials | support in the creation of new sales materials (presentations, pitch books, one-pagers, reports);
• Podcast | support in the production and promotion of the branded podcasts;
• Business development | support in business development for the practice, learn key competitors and industry trends, participate in marketing & BD meetings to capture key needs and prospect challenges.

Must haves

• EU passport / work permit in the EU;
• Master’s degree in Marketing/Communications/PR & Media;
• At least 4-5 years of experience as a marketing & communications professional;
• Excellent command of Italian & English;
• Strong copywriting skills;
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of a graphic design tool (Canva, Adobe);
• Excellent knowledge of social media planning, content production and analytics (LinkedIn);
• Strong oral/written communication, data presentation and interpersonal skills;
• Effective time-management, proactivity, problem solving and team working skills.

Nice to haves

• Advanced degree in any discipline;
• Command of a third language, German or Spanish proficiency is a plus;
• A keen interest in technology, geopolitics, investigations.
