At RSM Nicaragua, SA: He is responsible for the main professional and operational activities of the Firm, attending to activities related to the strategic planning and execution of advisory and consulting services for the Firm's clients, which include medium and large local companies or members of large international groups, as well as support for international coverage commitments.
Studies:
He is a Certified Public Accountant, with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Public Accounting and Finance (UNAN, UNIVAL), Postgraduate in Business Management (UCA), Postgraduate in Human Talent Management (CCPN), Doctorate in Education (Christian of America University) and has participated in a large number and variety of national and international trainings in areas of Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Risks and related topics.
Professional experience:
Among his extensive professional experience, it should be noted that prior to RSM Nicaragua, SA, he was the founder of Deloitte Touche & Solís and was for approximately 17 years as a Deloitte partner for Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras and the Dominican Republic, and also being the Functional Leader of the Energy & Resources Business Area for those countries, and a benchmark in that sector for Latin America. Also, Mr. Solís Ibarra was Managing Partner of another local Firm for several years and for more than 5 years previously he served as Director of Audit of the Comptroller General of the Republic of Nicaragua.
Contribution to the accounting profession in Nicaragua:
Mr. Solis Ibarra has served twice as President of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nicaragua (CCPN), where he also assisted in other meritorious positions, having been President of the Court of Honor of said institution on two occasions.
He was a key person for the profession and the country, through his service as Chairman of the Technical Commissions that led to the adoption for Nicaragua of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / NIIF) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA/NIA).
Among other contributions, he has served as President of the Organizing Committee of the international event called "CReCER 2012" in Nicaragua (Accounting and Responsibility for Regional Economic Growth), in coordination with the World Bank (WB/BM), Inter-American Development Bank (IADB /BID), International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the International Public Policy Committee, and the Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC).
He also served as President of the Organizing Committee of the continental event called "Summit of the Americas 2014" (Comprehensive Training in Support of Economic Development), in coordination with the Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC), International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), and the IFRS Foundation.
He was founder and Coordinator of the CCPN postgraduate programs and has also been a Speaker at Seminars, Conferences, Symposia, at the local level on a wide variety of topics.
Contribution at international level:
Mr. Solis Ibarra has served for several years at the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) as a member of the “Development Committee of Professional Accounting Organizations (PAODC)”, currently “Advisory Group and of Development of Professional Accounting Organizations ”(PAO Dev and Advisory Group). He has also served as a member of the “Auditing Standards and Practices Committee” of the Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC) where he has also participated in its “Governing Board” and has served as a member of its “Nominating Committee”.

He has been Professor and Coordinator of accounting at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN) and served as a teacher and speaker at a wide variety of universities in the country. Coordinator of the postgraduate programs of the Institute of Public Accountants of Nicaragua (CCPN).
Recognition of merit, granted by the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN León, founded in 1812), for its invaluable contribution in the training and updating the students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
