Marianne specializes in VAT and Tax law and covers any VAT topic within all branches and industries. This includes in particular the real estate sector, the financial industry, the municipal sector and the cultural sector. She also advices on VAT in restructuring of businesses and in DD´s. She also assists private clients under tax audits held by the Norwegian Tax authorities and/or communicates with the authorities on behalf of the clients. Marianne also litigates cases before the Norwegian courts.

Marianne has worked in different law firms since 2003, latest in the law firm Harboe & Co where she was a partner for more than 6 years. Prior to this, she was 7 years with the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Law Department, where her latest position was Legal Adviser. She has also worked 3 years with The Norwegian Tax Administration and 5 years with the law firm BAHR.

Marianne is a member of the National Tax Appeal Board and has also held the position as Head of the Bar Association Law Committee for indirect taxation. Marianne regularly writes articles in various newspapers and/or journals, and also holds lectures in her discipline.
