Rio joined RT&Co. in November 2012 and has over 12 years of experience in tax practice, handling tax compliance reviews, tax due diligence reviews, preparation of tax returns, and litigation support services for entities in diverse industries. In 2018, he received the Abacus Award in the Area of Client Servicing for Tax for his outstanding work.

Rio graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy from the University of the Philippines - Diliman and is a Certified Public Accountant.
