José Pedro Gonçalves has a long career in providing consulting and auditing services to various business sectors. He leads the Consulting Practice of RSM Portugal.

He is an active member of the following associations and institutes:

IPCG – Portuguese Institute of Corporate Governance,
OCEG - Open Compliance and Ethics Group,
IIA – Institute of Internal Auditors (IPAI),
ISACA – Information Systems Audit and Control Association
CIIWA – Competitive Intelligence and Information Warfare.

He also was a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a SAP Financials Certified Consultant.

He has a Degree in Economics (Nova School of Business and Economics) and a Post-graduation in Strategic Management (Portuguese Catholic University).
