ABOUT ESTHER

Esther Kasambara is a Divisional Director in the Legal Department in our Johannesburg office.

She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree (With Distinction) in 2016 . Thereafter she obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law in 2017 and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Principles Compliance (With Distinction) in 2021. Esther also obtained Certificates in Company Law I and II in 2021 as well as her Master of Laws Degree in Corporate Law in 2023.

Esther served her articles of clerkship with Fairbridges Wertheim Becker Attorneys, specialising in general civil litigation, general criminal law litigation and commercial litigation in the Magistrates’ Court and High Court of South Africa. Esther has also been exposed to general labour law matters.

Shortly after the completion of her articles of clerkship, Esther joined RSM South Africa as a Legal Advisor in July 2019, and was admitted as an attorney in September 2019. Esther was then promoted to an Associate in the Legal Department on 1 April 2021, and subsequently to a Divisional Director in the Legal Department with effect from May 2024.
