ABOUT ILHAAM

Ilhaam completed her SAICA training contract in March 2010 after which she was promoted to Audit Manager. She realised that her passion lies in taxation and shifted her focus to this area and was appointed as Tax & Advisory Services Manager in June 2012. Since then Ilhaam has been dedicated to the tax and advisory department. She was appointed as Regional Divisional Director in May 2017.

Ilhaam is engaged in a wide range of consulting services including national and international tax consulting and structuring, employees’ tax and VAT consulting. Ilhaam consults to various industries within the small and medium enterprise sector and also advises on the VAT implications of cross-border transactions. Client industries to whom consulting services have been, and are currently, being provided include retail, financial services, manufacturing, social housing, hospitality and commercial real estate management. Ilhaam also advises on mergers and acquisitions, covering deal structuring, due diligence and contract review.
