ABOUT RIEYAAZ

Rieyaaz is a Director in the Cape Town office, a position he has held since March 2014. Rieyaaz  joined RSM South Africa as an article clerk and completed his audit articles in January 2007. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2009 and later as a Registered Auditor in 2014. During this time, he has developed a good business acumen and has fine tuned his technical skills (accounting and business controls).

Rieyaaz has had exposure to various industries and has practical experience relating to all aspects of an audit. This ranges, but is not limited to, preparation of financial statements, performing bookkeeping and tax services, auditing (in terms of International Standards on Auditing, as well as Public Finance Management Act) and completing tax returns.
