David Jiménez

David Jiménez is a partner at RSM, and heads the tax practice in the Madrid office.

His specialisation is tax advice and tax planning for both domestic and international clients.

David has extensive experience in family businesses, as well as in tax and legal advice to private clients, not only from a tax point of view but also in the planning of their investments and divestments. He has regularly participated in the purchase of companies, conducting tax Due Diligence or advising on the purchase structure.

Furthermore, he has extensive experience in tax auditing and tax litigation before Spanish courts.

David is the Director of the Master’s Degree in Tax Law at the ISIE Law School, and he is also a regular speaker at conferences and seminars held by several institutions (ISDE, IIR, etc.).

David started his professional career as a Lawyer at Abascal y Asociados, before joining EY and then Deloitte. He joined Vialegis Dutilh as a partner, and subsequently practised as a partner at Alliantia Abogados, then Olleros Abogados, followed by Luton Abogados, before joining RSM as a partner.

He holds a Degree in Law from Colegio Universitario Cardenal Cisneros (UCM), an MBA and a Master’s Degree in Law (LLM) from IDE-CESEM, and a Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy from IE Business School.
