Gonzalo de la Torre is a partner at RSM and specialises in Litigation, Civil-Commercial.

His principally specialises in preventive contractual advice, intermediation for out-of-court resolution of disputes and, ultimately, in the defence of the client’s interests before the civil and commercial jurisdictions.

Gonzalo has extensive experience in providing advisory support to the internal legal departments of large companies in the real estate, financial, transportation and consumer goods sectors, as well as in mediating in the resolution of corporate disputes and drafting family protocols and shareholders’ agreements. He has also been involved in the drafting of numerous franchise contracts and in the resolution of conflicts arising in the relationship between franchisors and franchisees.

Gonzalo began his professional career at Peñafort Abogados, a firm that later became part of RSM.

He holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s Degree in Private Law from the Centro Universitario Villanueva.

He is also a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Spanish Association of Mediation, Arbitration and Collaborative Law (AEMAD).
