Julio Capilla

Julio Capilla is a partner at RSM and heads the Palma de Mallorca office.

He specialises in financial auditing processes for clients belonging to the leisure, hospitality and tourism sectors (restaurant chains, hotel groups, travel agencies, tour operators).

Julio is also a visiting professor in several programmes at Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona and an associate professor at Universidad de las Islas Baleares.

Furthermore, he is a speaker and lecturer on topics related to Auditing and Accounting in conferences organised by the College of Economists of Catalonia, College of Economists of the Balearic Islands, Spanish Institute of Chartered Accountants, Confederation of Business Associations of the Balearic Islands and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca.

Julio began his career at PwC and later joined RSM Gassó, which subsequently became part of RSM Spain.

He holds a Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Barcelona, a Master’s Degree in Tax Management from EAE, a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from the Pompeu Fabra University and a Master’s Degree in Auditing from the University of Barcelona.

He is also registered in the Official Register of Auditors in Spain (ROAC) and is a member of the Board of Directors of Group XIII of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Balearic Islands.
