About Yann

Yann joined RSM in September 2012 as a trainee. He then progressively climbed the ladder of our company and is now in charge of the Lausanne tax office, mainly dealing with our Private Client Service & Corporate Tax service line as Director. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Federal diploma as a tax expert.

He specializes in Swiss and international corporate and individual taxation, covering a broad spectrum of taxes and situations, such as income and wealth tax, taxation of pension benefits or real estate gains, income and capital tax as well as withholding tax and stamp tax.

On top, Yann is specialized in the preparation of tax due diligence, VAT memorandum, and corporate tax memorandum. He is responsible for Swiss inheritance tax and is a member of the Private Client Service and Inheritance Tax working groups at RSM. Yann is also particularly appreciated by his clients for his ability to analyze a particular situation in depth and to proactively anticipate future and possible risks related to it.

Experience & Skills

Expertise and experience in executing international transactions within corporate groups from the perspective of corporate income tax, stamp duties, withholding tax, and VAT.
Mergers and acquisitions, advisory services for sellers and buyers (Swiss and/or cross-border), tax due diligence for sellers or buyers.
Expertise and experience in assisting High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) with income and wealth tax matters, as well as gift and inheritance taxes, including tax planning and real estate transactions.
