Audit Partner

Mr. Onat is an audit partner, based in Istanbul. Before joining RSM in 2023, he started his audit career at Nexia and afterfour years he went on to work at Mazars for twenty-fouryears as a senior audit partner. In his current role, Mr. Onat is responsible as partner in charge of various sectors as well as referral engagements assigned by RSM International. Mr. Onat often leads independent audit engagements in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the local Turkish Standards on Auditing (TSA). He also has extensive experience in consolidation, due diligence, internal control, fraud and compliance audits. He is expert in the audit engagements of multinational industry and service sector clients. Mr. Onat provides services to clients from various sectors, as well as multi-nationals. He takes a client-focused approach and has the technical skills, knowledge and ideas to provide value to clients in many industries. He has conducted audits for numerous local and international organizations operating in the automotive, white goods, and other manufacturing and service sectors. Mr. Onat is an expert in local and international audit and a member of powerful audit network, RSM. He focuses on client needs that's based on deep understanding of the client's business. He has deep knowledge and experience of broad range of industries, establishes long-term relationships with clients through an intimate understanding of their operations. He adopts a clientcentric service approach and uses RSM's global audit knowledge and power of its global network.
