Current role description

Nick is a Senior Partner and Head of Business & Corporate Services Consulting at RSM Indonesia; which comprises Accounting, Payroll, Corporate Secretarial and Executive Search. Moreover, he is an adviser to the Tax Practice and undertakes tax advisory engagements, mainly involving inbound foreign investors. 

He joined RSM in 2000, having worked for Touche Ross and Arthur Andersen in Sydney, before spending several years in commerce. He also worked for over six years as a Director overseeing tax and outsourcing at a mid-tier firm in Indonesia.

Current service skills and experience

Nick is an expert in the Indonesian regulatory environment and assisting clients in their Indonesian establishment.  He has in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of taxation, company law, licensing, workforce law, payroll & accounting, and facilitating business formation.

He leads cross-border tax consulting engagements including structuring, due diligence and international note/bond issues, working in collaboration with other RSM firms when required.

Nick provides services to foreign companies, multinationals and small to medium-sized organisations, in various sectors.  He takes a client-focused approach and has the technical skills, knowledge and ideas to provide clients value in the sectors he serves.

Nick has an exceptional breadth and depth of knowledge of Indonesia’s regulatory environment, and clients find his skills, local understanding and expertise invaluable.  He covers the A-Z of key areas from the outset, highlights vital concerns, and uses his experience to provide foresight. Moreover, his Bahasa Indonesian language and cultural familiarity provide great insight.

Nick takes a genuine interest in his clients, many of which are long-standing, and enjoys learning about their business, strategies, and aspirations.  He takes a cooperative approach and combines his know-how with the expertise of his global network of professionals.
