Summary of role

I am a Tax Consultant at RSM Ireland specialising in corporation tax. 

I work on a diverse portfolio of domestic and international corporation tax compliance and advisory clients across a number of industries including technology, property and pharma.

I am a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland (ACA) and I am due to sit my final Part 3 Irish Tax Institute exams.

What’s been the highlight so far?

In my opinion, one of the highlights of working at RSM Ireland is the strong and positive work culture coupled with a highly talented and supportive team which has aided my professional development.

What’s been your biggest challenge so far?

I found that my exposure to preparing and delivering presentations was limited and an area that is outside of my comfort zone. During my time with RSM Ireland, I continue to overcome my hesitation to present in meetings by becoming increasingly involved in presentations to the wider team.

What’s surprised you most about working at RSM?

I was pleasantly surprised at the opportunities presented to me here at RSM Ireland. I find that the variety of tax work that I have been involved in to-date has been both stimulating and demanding as no two days are alike which brings new challenges and opportunities. 

What’s next for you at RSM?

I plan on progressing my career in Tax at RSM Ireland by becoming increasing involved in various client projects that will broaden my experience and build on my knowledge.
