Summary of role

There are many reasons why I chose to work at RSM Ireland. I believe the company put a great focus on continuous development and learning. Training sessions are held on a weekly basis allowing the tax department to collaborate and share learnings. I find these sessions very beneficial and have had the opportunity to present sessions which has helped my personal development. I see myself as being an ambitious person and I believe there are many opportunities in terms of career progression within RSM Ireland.

The company are supportive regarding exams and study leave with all exam-related fees covered by the company and paid study leave provided. Having sat my Part 2 ITI exams with RSM Ireland and achieving a pass in all subjects on my first attempt, I found the team to be very approachable and willing to help.

RSM Ireland understands the importance of the work/life balance with their hybrid working model. I enjoy the flexibility of working from home but also the opportunity to work in the office with the team on our designated tax team days. There are various social events organised throughout the year which employees can attend.

Overall, I enjoy working at RSM Ireland as the people are very understanding and help me progress my career.
