RSM Malta has today announced that Managing Partner George Gregory has informed the Partners and Team, of his intention to retire from his post after nearly four years in the role.
As Managing Partner, George has overseen the pandemic and post-pandemic period following his appointment on 1st January 2021. During his tenure, RSM Malta has continued to establish itself as a leader in the assurance, tax and advisory fields; also as part of a global and powerful network. George has also led the firm through a sustained period of growth in terms of client portfolio and team complement, with a particular focus on branding the firm as an employer of choice for professionals. He has successfully worked on widening the firm’s reach on a number of fronts, including the various collaboration agreements with a number of business stakeholders; in order to continuously build the RSM brand in Malta.
The Partners of RSM Malta thanked George for his leadership since taking up the role and also for his contribution to the firm as one of the Founding Partners. Additionally, they thanked George for his long and distinguished career at RSM Malta and expressed their gratitude for his significant contribution to the brand over many years. “He has driven both our pandemic and post-pandemic transformation strategy and created a business culture that delivers returns. The brand is in a strong position in Malta as it enters the next phase of development and growth. We want to thank him for the years of dedicated service which involved many significant accomplishments.”
George Gregory said: “It has been a privilege to lead RSM Malta. I never imagined when I started 19 years ago that I would have the honour of becoming Managing Partner. I am proud of what we have achieved, and it has only been possible because of the talent, dedication, and commitment of the people at RSM Malta. I want to thank them wholeheartedly and wish them continued success for the next stage of the journey. After an intense four years, it is now the right time for me to move on to new ventures.”
The Partners have begun a formal process to find a successor; during which a smooth and orderly transition with George will take place.
