Jeremy Howarth

Managing Partner

Managing Partner, Jeremy co-heads the audit department and leads the Anti-Money Laundering and financial intermediary practice. He is a member of the board of directors of RSM Audit Switzerland SA and RSM Switzerland SA and part of the Geneva branch management.

A British and Swiss National, Jeremy has a BA (Hons) in Economics (UK), is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). He is a Swiss licensed audit expert and responsible auditor for Financial Intermediaries.

Jeremy Howarth’s career began at PwC Geneva in the Audit and Business Advisory Services Department where he managed the audits of a variety of companies ranging from listed blue chip US and Swiss Multinationals to financial services companies and NGOs.

After seven years at PwC, Jeremy joined a European Private Equity Fund where as a Director he developed an important experience in the acquisition and sale of companies whilst holding numerous board positions in portfolio companies.

Five years later, Jeremy joined a Geneva-based Private Bank, where as Member of the Management Committee, he was able to further develop his knowledge of financial services.

With RSM since 2009, Jeremy manages global transnational audits covering sectors such as technology, industry and services as well as the audits of international and prestigious NGOs, Foundations and Associations operating out of Switzerland. Jeremy is a recognised responsible auditor for several Swiss SROs and conducts financial and anti-money laundering audits for financial intermediaries and family offices active in wealth management, fintech and trusteeships.
