Meltem joined RSM in October 2014 where she leads the operational activities of our audit department in Western Switzerland. Prior to joining RSM, Meltem started her career at Deloitte Audit and Assurance Services, where she worked for 10 years of which 4 year in Istanbul and 6 year in Geneva, with a focus on trading companies, multinationals, and FMCG.  She led group audits for IFRS and US GAAP clients of there and worked with audit teams across the globe. She has cross border business knowledge through her experience on multi-boundary projects and large international assignments.

Meltem then joined the European Headquarters of a US multinational where she led the EMEA country controllers. During that time, she worked hand-in-hand with the US headquarter, the shared service centre and country management. She led US GAAP reporting as well as the acquisition and integration of new regional operations.

At RSM, Meltem leads internal training programs for audit team, as well as the implementation of RSM quality assurance policies and the varying audit tools and methodologies. With her experience in trading, NGO/NPOs, and group audits, she leads a number of multinational audits in Geneva. She speaks French, English and Turkish.
