On September 16, 2024, we proudly participated in the 20th FIT Charity Run 2024 at the National Stadium as RSM Japan, united with our partner firms RSM Seiwa Audit Co. and RSM Japan Tax Co.. The event brought together over 4,000 runners and walkers from 103 domestic and international financial institutions, auditing firms, and consulting firms.
This year marked the 20th anniversary of the FIT Charity Run. Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike sent a video message, praising the organization's two decades of service to the local community and cheering on the volunteers. Beyond the traditional running competition, the event featured inclusive activities like blind soccer and wheelchair basketball, welcoming participants of all abilities and showcasing the diverse appeal of sports."
RSM Japan, participating for the second consecutive year, has been actively involved in community initiatives. The FIT Charity Run aligned perfectly with our company's values and our dedication to making a positive impact on society. We were able to showcase our commitment to health and wellness by fielding teams in various running and walking categories. Our employees also volunteered at the event, contributing to its overall success. We look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
The event raised a total of 55,784,810 yen in donations to support organizations working in local communities (according to the FIT2024 official website). "We are honored to have been part of such a meaningful event," said Kengo Maekawa, Founder and CEO at RSM Shiodome Partners. "The FIT Charity Run is a testament to the power of community and the positive impact we can make when we come together for a common cause."
RSM Shiodome Partners will continue to support charitable initiatives and contribute to the well-being of the communities we serve.
