Melle van der Stoel

Melle van der Stoel has worked in the international tax practice since 2004 and as tax director for RSM since 2019 and before that at the Big 4. Melle leads the international tax team at the Hoofddorp office. Melle studied Tax Law at Leiden University.

In recent years Melle has been closely involved with many internationally operating companies in the areas of structuring, tax compliance and tax management. Most major projects in his career consisted of international projects and cooperation with colleagues and clients in multiple locations and from different cultures. Melle has a broad portfolio of multinational clients, a large proportion of which are headquartered in the US and UK. He has a sector focus on clients operating in Life Sciences, Manufacturing industry, Consumer Products and Technology.

Within RSM, Melle leads the UK-NL desk and in that role works to strengthen the partnership with RSM UK and together, especially after the Brexit, they have helped a large number of companies set foot in the Netherlands or expand into the UK.
