Ognjen is an all-round (inter)national tax consultant and ultimately responsible for RSM Alkmaar's tax practice since 2020.  He has experience in corporate tax, payroll tax, VAT and transfer tax. He also advises and leads various projects to bring the tax function and processes at clients to a higher level, such as setting up a tax control framework. Ognjen also assists with tax restructurings and due diligences, including in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

Ognjen is passionate about proactive tax consulting, based in part on data analysis. "Of course you have to do a good job reactively, where the client asks you to. But where you can make the difference as a tax advisor and consulting organization above all is in proactively pointing out tax opportunities and threats to the client and helping them to successfully respond to them."

In addition to his position at RSM, Ognjen is an active author and has numerous tax publications to his name. For example, he has written a book on Dutch car taxes and is the author of an e-learning on financial and tax aspects of medical professionals joining a medical business cooperative.
