Albert van Wijk

Albert joined RSM in 2019 at the Eindhoven office where he leads the accounting department. In addition, since October 2021 Albert has been responsible for quality and professional technique within RSM Netherlands as head of quality management and professional technique.

Albert has over 30 years of experience of which 20 years at one of the big four firms. Albert specializes in international and (large) national audits both as a group and component auditor. Over the years Albert has gained a broad experience in IT audit, internal control, financial due diligence, annual reporting including IFRS, methodology and compliance.

In addition, Albert is a senior lecturer in Audit & Assurance at Maastricht University's postgraduate program in Chartered Accountancy (MURA) and is an examiner in Audit & Assurance of the International Executive Master in Auditing (IEMA) at VU Amsterdam, Maastricht University and Florida State University.
