Marcel joined RSM in 2018 and is responsible for the Financial Due Diligence practice. Under the supervision of his expert team, Marcel provides financial due diligence services to major clients in the Netherlands and internationally.  In addition, he is a member of the RSM Global Leadership Team.

Marcel holds an MSc, an Executive Master in Business Valuation (MBV), and is a registered Management Controller (CMA).  In addition to financial management, control and risk expertise, Marcel specializes in financial due diligence. He has significant experience in acquisition and vendor due diligence, leading complex transaction services to maximize value by minimizing risks arising from transactions and providing collateral.  He is also adept at managing working capital, buy-and-build strategies, carve-out deals and acquiring businesses for private equity and strategic buyers.

Marcel services clients from a variety of industries, including mid-sized private equity houses, strategic buyers, large corporations, capital markets and multinational corporations.  He has also served clients from the IT, technology, engineering, global manufacturing and industrial supply chains, giving him valuable expertise in these sectors.

Marcel provides his active input throughout the transaction process, tailoring a dedicated team to each client with expert advisors who conduct thorough research. He is a trusted advisor to clients who rely on his informed advice.
