Stefan has been working in accountancy since 2012. Within RSM, Stefan focuses on services for parties in the public sector. Stefan's sector experience includes municipalities, joint arrangements, museums, theaters, foundations, public-private partnerships and private law organizations with one or more public law shareholders or with an extensive subsidy relationship.

In addition to the usual annual audits, Stefan's area of expertise includes the Wet normering topinkomens (WNT), SiSa accountability, subsidy audits and the performance of agreed specific work, as well as issues in the area of setting up the governance structure, lawfulness issues and project management. Commitment and professional responsibility combined with an open and informal contact is emphasized as an essential part of the services provided.

In addition to his primary activities, Stefan is also a practical supervisor within the framework of the practical training to become a chartered accountant and is a member of the NBA Working Group on decentralized governments.
