How we enable our employees to reach their highest potential

To attract and connect with the right candidates, we proactively work on Employer Branding by sharing our story through social media. This helps create awareness of RSM among potential candidates. When we actively recruit, we’ve already laid the groundwork, so applicants are aware of who we are and are applying for the right reasons.

We recruit impartially, objectively, and without discrimination. Everyone should have equal opportunities, and our processes are designated to be inclusive. Technical skills and industry experience are important, but we also place a strong emphasis on values and commitment when hiring. From storytelling and outreach to job postings and interviews, we clearly communicate RSM’s culture and values.

We coach our employees

Our coaching system is a crucial component in the development of our employees. We aim to leverage and enhance their skills, as they are our most valuable assets.

Through the coaching system, we seek to identify each person’s unique strengths and areas for growth.

We align personal goals and motivations with the organization’s objectives to achieve the greatest potential. Our processes help ensure that coaches, leaders, and the employees themselves can identify and address any work-related issues or situations that might lead to problems at an early stage.

It is important for employees to feel comfortable raising various issues, which requires them to trust and have confidence in their coach and other leaders. Therefore, it is essential for us to ensure that we have a workplace with a tolerant climate and accessible coaches and leaders.

Training and development

Employees are offered both internal and external training in various area to broaden and deepen their technical skills, as well as training in project management and leadership.

For employees who have the potential and wish to develop their leadership skills, RSM provides leadership programs at different levels. One of these programs currently running is Next Gen, a leadership program aimed at employees identified as the next generation of leaders.

Individuals with potential and active commitment are given the opportunity to participate in this program. The selected participants come from diverse backgrounds and hold various roles/positions at RSM. The program lasts for one year and includes regular full-day activities led by external consultants who specialize in leadership and communication.

With our structure, coaching system, and routines, we collaborate a daily basis. We have leaders at all levels who are committed to our employees’ performance and care about their well-being. This helps create a safe and supportive workplace that both leaders and employees can be proud of.

Understanding and insight into an employee’s various circumstances – such as foreign background, home situation, work experience, and education increase the possibilities the employee will have a suitable role and assignment structure.

An employee’s circumstances continuously evolve, due to new experiences at work as well as changes in life situations or other external influences.

How we create well-being in everyday life

Joy and well-being not only strengthen our sense of community but also influence how we perceive each other’s qualities and conditions.

A happy and satisfied employee or leader who enjoys their time at RSM not only lays the foundation for loyalty and a long-term career with us but also spreads joy and well-being to others.

Satisfied employees who feel comfortable with us are more likely to understand and respect their colleagues’ situations and are willing to support or relieve a hard-working teammate.

We emphasize learning and skill development in our targeted activities but also prioritize activities that incorporate enjoyment and well-being, such as ski trips, running events, Though Viking, Göteborgsvarvet, yoga, winter swimming, or after-work gatherings at the RSM bar.

We conduct a variety of activities aimed at enhancing well-being and joy at RSM, with initiatives coming from both leaders and other staff members.
