  • the new improvements of Oracle NetSuite Advanced PLP Package 2024.10.

Advanced Polish Localization Package (Advanced PLP) provides an extension of a native functionality in Oracle NetSuite. It is a set of designed modules intended to fully support your financial NetSuite system in compliance with the Polish requirements stated in the Polish Accounting Act. We regularly update the PLP module and so we would like to announce a new version of the Oracle NetSuite Advanced Polish Localization Package 2024.10 software. Our release notes provide information on the features and improvements in each release.

IMPROVEMENTS:

Improvements have been made in notifications displayed when downloading data of entities from the GUS and VIES systems.

In the case of foreign entities who are not recorded in the GUS system, the following message is displayed:

In the case of entities whose data are entered in neither the GUS nor the VIES system, the following message is displayed:

Improvements have been made in messages displayed in multibooking systems, securing Polish Localisation Package reports against wrong filter parametrisation by the user.

Improvements have been made in handling VAT exchange rates on Credit Memo documents. The default VAT exchange rate is automatically downloaded from the source document, which simplifies the process and guarantees the integrity of data.

In addition, there is an option to change the VAT exchange rate on sales credit memos by editing the date of the exchange rate. In that case, the system automatically updates the exchange rate in line with the NBP table.

When entering the exchange rate manually, the system displays an additional question to confirm the user's intention, with two possible options:

  • to revert to the previous NBP exchange rate;
  • to retain the manually input exchange rate.

Optimization of the Polish Localization Package scripts has been introduced at the transaction level, specifically in setting interrelated values, such as the PLP date. This enhancement aims to improve the integrity of data regardless of the input manner (manually, via CSV import, or integration) and the solution provider.
